Welcome to the twisted mind of the Lord Snow

It's just one of those close to perfect days that I don't ever want to forget...

What more could a guy ask for...?

There aren't too many days where I can look back at it at night and think to myself, "Damn...that was a good day." As sad as it may be, there REALLY aren't too many of those...however, in a way, I think that it's a good thing because it makes the days that DO come that much more special...

Today started out like many other days...woke up too late for breakfast...grabbed lunch and again, like many other days, mom and sis went out to run errands and to shop for groceries giving me the house all to myself which is always a good thing. Gives me the freedom to blast whatever music I want or to just sit there in the peaceful silence.

So home all alone, I got in some gaming in the morning and then moved downstairs with a few books later in the afternoon when the heat began to get unbearable...a pretty peaceful morning... The phone rang about four thirty or so, a call from David, saying that he was going to 'raid' my house again ^.^

Sure enough, he came by carrying two cases of shrimp...to be tossed onto the grill for dinner apparently. Mom and sister come home soon after with a shitload of groceries and a bunch of giant steaks for dinner so great; rice, steak and giant shrimp for dinner ^.^

The process of actually making dinner was a rather interesting one in itself. Not that I saw too much of it...I was busy mowing the freaking lawn >.< God I hate summer with it's grass and bugs and shit...I want the clean cold of winter and it's peaceful snowfalls...

While I won't deny that I felt rather peeved to have to mow the lawn...I AM happy for it gave me a reason to take another cold shower...I swear, there is almost nothing that feels as good as taking an almost ice cold shower when you're all hot and sweaty...it feels so freaking GOOD!!! Step in the shower, and the longer it goes on, bit by bit, the more I turn off the hot water until at the end, it's almost just cold water!! My GOD that feels so freaking good after being outside in the sun ^.^ Of course, I'm the only one that FEELS that way...other people just think that I'm a freak ^.^' but that's okay...as long as I have the cold, I'm happy.

Dinner...obviously tasted good XD Half cooked by 'Master Chef David' BWAHAHAHA, but seriously, tasted good...one mishap when I didn't know if I was supposed to rip the head OFF the shrimp before eating XD Afterwards, upstairs for TV and games cept the only problem was...it was freaking BOILING in my room >.<

That one fact came close to ruining the day for me...trust fate to give ME the guy who loves the cold to pieces the freaking HOTTEST room in the house -.- However, this was thankfully averted a little later on...but anyways, as I said, we were in my room, pretty much being broiled alive, when something happens...

I can see something that looks sooo perfect outside...and so getting up, I open the door and walk out onto the deck...

The dim light from the full moon washes the land around me with a light touch of silver as the moon drifts in and out from bands of gauzy, steel grey clouds...a cool breeze flutters around, cooling me with it's feather soft touch. I stand there in awe for a moment before simply stretching out on the wooden deck and clasping my hands together under my head to act as a cushion. Curious to see what was keeping me outside, my sister and David come out as well, only to also be shocked at how much cooler it was outside than in.

So we lay there...in the light of the moon, just chatting about all the manner of things...good times...
