Welcome to the twisted mind of the Lord Snow

A game 'journal' of sorts, kind of along the lines of the records of my first trip to the town of Silent Hill but this one will be a bit more in depth then that.

Apocolypse: Conspiracy of Inferno

Began the game starting from the "Apocolypse" chapter because from the looks of things, (it was at the very top) it would seem to be the first in the chronological sequence of things.

It began in a spacious, office-like room, looked kind of like the room that a president of sorts would occupy. In the room was some guy with a funky hairdo talking with one of the main characters,Christian de Medich. Me likes Christian...he looks so suave >.>

I'm not sure why his first name in korean was spelled "ũƼ" which actually sounds more like "Kuh-lee-suh-tee-ang" I don't know why they used the '' instead of the '' as the last character of his name which would have made it it end with a plain N sound instead of the 'ang' but meh.

The guy with the funky hairdo has the name of "Richelieu" and from what I could understand...there was not much. They talked for a while about something that Christian couldn't believe but the long korean conversation that I couldn't understand eventually ended up with Christian being ordered to go and retrieve something? Some kind of file maybe from some building. So there was Christian with a trusty sidekick, Sirius. I'd like to take the time to say that heros that wield dual weapons just kick all kinds of ass. Christian battles using two handguns and just rocks. The first battle was freaking retarded though...I had to find room 217 in some heavily enemy populated building and escape unseen. Of course, I set off the alarm the first time I saw an enemy and happily attacked him...setting off the alarm and having the end result of having like freaking 8-12 guys after my ass. But it's okay cause I kicked all their asses.

Retrieved the file and left only to confront some more guys outside the building on my way out. I went on kicking all their asses but when one of them died, all of a sudden, I got a gameover -.- so I restarted, left that guy alone and killed everyone else only to find, that the battle doesn't end. So without any other option, I started beating up on HIM only to have him start talking after he'd lost about half his life. So the battle ends and I'm on the world map.

Gathered a couple items/equipment and continued on my way.

The next dungeon I entered I had the option of attaching mercenaries to Christian and Sirius. So with that done, the battle was a LOT easier, not because the mercs were any GOOD per se, but because they were there, they served as cannon fodder while Christian killed the enemies. Sirius was nothing but a fully controllable decoy to get the enemies into Christian's range XD Christian shows off two more skills, a six shot rapid fire ability and a lightning spell.

Past that, basically charged through the next two floors, (they were a LOT harder BTW) not killing all the enemies or getting all the items but just plowing through to the exit and got to the roof where I saw...

A woman, Empress Christina, was standing there with three random guards and a kind of cool looking guy that went by the name of Albatini. From the talk, Albatini was part of the lady's guard force I think? but suddenly, exclaims angrily and runs up to one guard and kills him! She was very shocked and one of the other guard's was too so Albatini rushes him and slashes him. The last one gets pissed off and charges towards him...and that's when he turns his back on the guy and thrusts his sword backwards, killing him. It was a cool little animation. Then he walks up to her, faces her and levels his sword at her when she suddenly pulls a gun on him. Confidently, he states that she won't be able to shoot him and BLAM! She shoots...but misses. He chuckles, stalks foward...when the door behind him slams open and there's Christian.

The woman sounds really relieved that someone has come to her rescue but that disappears when Christian exclaims in a shocked voice, "!!" O.O It would appear that Albatini's full name is Albatini de Medich...and he's Christian's older brother!! That however doesn't stop brave Christian...and with a choked voice, he says that even if they ARE brothers, that won't stop him from doing his duty and Christian draws his handguns and aims at his back.

Albatini still seems confident that neither of them will shoot so he charges...the screen fades to white and you hear three gunshots. The game treats you to a still image of Albatini with two bullets striking his chest and fades away again. When the screen fills in again, Christian is standing shocked while Christina is holding the dying Albatini (who's holding a broken sword - looks like she managed to hit SOMETHING) in her arms, crying...

Following that were a bunch of calm still images with a lovely, one line sentiment on each one and those finished off with a gorgeous shot of Christina sitting by a tree reading a book with Albatini sleeping with a head leaned on her shoulder...so I guess they were lovers of some kind?

The original image sourced in the game wasn't colored, just kind of sepia toned but I saw this and thought that it looked nicer.

A nice sad way to start the experience eh?
