A bit of fun with Photoshop

I Miss You

So here's the story; Juliette messages me late one night, sending me this picture. The main thing that I liked about the pic was basically the same reason why Juli liked it, the whole "I miss you/I love you" bit, the words...they left a lot to be desired. Mainly, the small grammar error just...really started to grate on my nerves. According to Juliette, it was some chinese guy's background. Offhand, I remarked that I could probably make something like it without too much effort.

Around midday the next day, I stumbled upon the pic again and decided to give it a shot. Tougher than I thought it would be. After only a few minutes, I gave up on attempting to replace the entire picture and just concentrated on fixing the words. Ran into MORE problems trying to figure out how to get the words to have that diffuse glow. And so, obviously, I turned to Helen for help ^.^

After basically getting her to get my words to glow for me ^.^, I fixed the grammatical error on the second line, slapped on the glow and called it done. After saving it, I looked at it some more...something was bugging me. Then I had it, it was the strangely random pattern of syllables per line. So a bit of fooling around with word combinations fixed that and once more, I called it done and sent it to Juliette when she came back online that day.

The next day...today actually, I looked at it some more (easy to do because it was my background at the moment ^.^) and something bugged the hell out of me about the second section...it sounded, strange, maybe too cliched XD So after a bit of trial and error, I fixed it yet again and got this picture here.

Now, I'm pretty sure that I'm finally done with the blasted thing ^.^
