Welcome to the twisted mind of the Lord Snow

A game 'journal' of sorts, kind of along the lines of the records of my first trip to the town of Silent Hill but this one will be a bit more in depth then that.

Shivan Scimitar: A maiden fortress, Cardis

The next episode was in the Shivan Scimitar section. The story started off with four people in a room discussing some kind of plan I think?

They were Saladin, Valor, Marzana, and Mukapah. After a bit of discussion, they go outside and get two other guys and bring them into the discussion for a while before setting off. Based on what I know now at the end of the chapter, I'm guessing that they were planning the escape of someone important.

Throughout the chapter between battle scenes, there were brief clips of two people talking, Ibn Sina and Osman. From the music XD I'm PRETTY sure that they were the bad guys and it would seem that they knew of the plans of our intrepid rescuers to be...

Anyways, our heros go through some cave filled with monsters, maybe some kind of secret entrance, where I got to see them in action. All four of them, members of some group? Maybe a martial arts discipline called the Shivan Scimitars wield a variety of twin swords ranging from the two rather long ones that Saladin uses, two more dagger-like ones used by Marzana, Curved actual scimitar looking blades wielded by Mukapah and a variety of hand...blade? It's commonly known as a "katar" or "katal," they're like gloves with extended blades on the end that you hold. You can refer to Valor's pic as he's the one that uses them.

I gotta say though, Using this small group of four, the battle was a LOT easier than the first Apocolypse chapter with Christian and Sirius. All of them had this ability called '' (yeon) which served as a multi hit attack while Saladin also had 'ȥ' (hon) which was a sort of dashing strike.

Enemies in the cave consisted of a bunch of bats and a couple small yellow creatures, kinda looked like dragons. A strange thing worth mentioning though, when approaching baby dragons with anyone else, they would attack...but when you got near them with Saladin, they'd like, coo and Saladin would be like 'hey, these little guys seem friendly' and they'd suddenly be on your side o.O

Passing through that, got into what looked to be a prison. There was a small guard force there and a bunch of cells and in most of the cells, there were these sorta...raggedy, sick looking folk but the cell at the very bottom of the screen had two more new characters, a woman and a man. Presumably, the people that I'm there to rescue. So I kicked all the enemies asses including the general type character who used a COOL LIGHTSABER XD

Saladin barges into the special cell and tells Sherazard and her bodyguard that they're here to rescue her. There was a bit of dialogue about WHY they were helping her...from what I gathered, something about having her somewhere to prevent a war? No clue...but she refuses to go. They ask her why and she explains that all these other people were basically hostages to keep her there...that if she went missing, they would all be executed and how could she leave?

SO after a bit of thought, Saladin asks if she would leave if they took EVERYONE with them. The other people in his group object, saying that they would be slowed down, caught and that their 'Azidahakas' (guessing this is their dragon/plane things) couldn't carry all these people but Saladin insists and in the end, that's what they do.

They get outside to see like...a bajillion soldiers outside with Osman and Ibn Sina standing behind them all. Valor, Sherazard, and her bodyguard all hop into an Azidahaka each, leaving Saladin, Marzana and Mukapah on the ground and orders them all to just get out of there.

The battle begins...and seeing as how I'm smart and not suicidal, I take a narrow side ledge that's free of enemies to the bottom of the screen without too much effort and just rush at Osman and Ibn Sina. Then, in a sudden turn of events, Ibn turns on Osman, casting some giant fire spell at him. Then says that he can't take the things that Osman does anymore so Osman attacks him with his LIGHTSABER with this awesome looking multi hit attack and then, I get control again. I can control Ibn now, yay! I gots me a mage XD

Rush in at Osman, Ibn gets off one more spell before he gets smoked ;_; and I move in with Saladin and his two helpers for the kill. Freaking Osman though, pretty much managed to successfully avoid all the backup soldiers (like 12-15 of them) but when I get Osman low on health, he just runs towards where they're all bunched and starts to heal..making me chase him and pissing me off but eventually, I manage to kick his ass XD

After that scene, the scenes switch to two brothers sitting huddled in a dreary looking boat. Some sort of flashback but I'm not sure of what it's about. Apparently, the two boys, named Phillip and '' (Jeon) are from the land? Country of Pendragon and were captured. The younger one coughs a lot and seems sick but the older brother, Phillip, comforts him by reminding him that Pendragon has an unmatched naval force and that they would be rescued at any moment...

Scene fast forwards into what looks like a stone prison cell. Jeon is getting worse and Phillip pleads the guards for some medicine or something to help him...but they're mean sons of bitches, saying things like if dies, then that means he wasn't worthy of living and shit like that.

Scene skips again, and Phillip does what he can to comfort his brother by playing what looks to be a set of panpipes to him. And then encourages his brother to try, applauding his halting efforts and telling him to practice more and to play the song to him completely when he's good with it.

Another skip and the two brothers find that the walls at a corner of their cells are fairly weak and they break out, cross a courtyard of sorts when Jeon drops the instrument. Phillip goes back for it when he's pegged by the searchlights and a bunch of guards come running towards them and rush at Jeon with their guns raised so Phillip charges forward, puts his body between them and his brother...

Screen is black and you hear the voices of a couple of guards wondering where they should dump the body and they end up tossing into the next of some Azidahakas. Phillip wakes up, wondering why he's still alive and realizes that the pool that he was tossed into in the nest had some...healing properties or something. He also discovers and unconscious full-grown Azidahakas lying in that same pool, almost dead. Worried that it will wake up fully healed, he picks up a large rock and is about to kill it when a baby azidahakas interposes itself between them and refuses to move. Reminded of his own gesture in trying to save his brother, Phillip backs off and begins to cry...

Scene skips forward and though nothing's been shown, I'm assuming that the adult dragon is dead leaving Phillip alone with the baby dragon who he's named Jeon ^.^ One day, the dragon comes in with something in it's mouth so Phillips asks to see it. The dragon wants to play so let's Phillip get close then retreats and does this multiple times when SMACK, Phillip punches it in the head and takes the scrap of cloth XD That cracked me up...poor dragon lying on the ground with stars flying above it's head while Phillip's basically saying, "well, if you weren't such a bitch I wouldn't have punched you." XD

Phillip realizes that the scrap of cloth is the insignia? Patch? Badge of a soldier of the Cardis nation and when he asks the dragon where he found the badge, the dragon leads Phillip back a ways until suddenly, Phillip realizes that he's standing in the cell where he and his brother were kept. The place is deserted now and Phillip is overcome with sadness...wondering aloud, "Jeon, where are you? Are you alive?" At which point, the dragon would go up to him and nudge him and he would say, "no, not YOU I mean Jeon..." Awww....so sad...

Scene skips forward and Phillip and the dragon set off one day to find...more people? To get back home? I don't know when soldiers of 'Ʈ' (Tur?) spot them. They were the soldiers that captured him in the first place. They're running away and about to get caught when someone leaps in and kills them all o.O

Scene skips forward to a campfire where Phillip's savior is explaining the way the world works. His savior, Gifarang, seems to just KNOW that Phillip was from Pendragon. The reason for this was his golden blond hair, he explains that while people of this land had yellow hair, everyone knows that only people from Pendragon has that shade of gold as his hair. Gifarang makes Phillip an offer, to travel with him and learn from him...learn about the land that he's now in, the customs of it's people, and more importantly, how to fight. Gifarang offers to teach him the way of the 'Shivan Scimitar'. To help disguise him, Gifarang dyes his hair a darker brown and renames him...to SALADIN O.O

Suddenly...things come clear...
