Oh boy, you never know where you can draw inspiration
Wintry Genesis
I was in my Bible and Literature class while we covered the book of Genesis. Discussing the fall of mankind from the garden of Eden, my professor had this to say:
"So then God turns to Adam and asks him if he had eaten of the forbidden fruit and Adam says, 'yeah but Eve told me to.' So then God turns to Eve and asks her why she ate the forbidden fruit and she replies that the snake told her to do it. What you see here is the origin of the delegation of blame and responsibility."
That tickled me nicely for some reason and my thoughts took it all one step further; what if the snake had someone to blame as well?
This is what resulted.
I warn you now that this story and the views within it could very easily be taken as offensive so read it with a thickened layer of skin.
The title resulted from the fact that it's a sort of retelling of the third book of Genesis from my point of view hence, it's "wintry."
Enjoy.
