A game 'journal' of sorts, kind of along the lines of the records of my first trip to the town of Silent Hill but this one will be a bit more in depth then that.
The War of Genesis 3
My attention was first brought to this game from glancing through a korean friend's korean gaming magazine. I saw the striking artwork of the character designs and kind of...obsessed with it a bit. What can I say?
I can barely understand anything that's spoken and almost all the text boxes pass by too fast for me to read and understand. I still have only the vaguest idea of how the system works solely due to my experiences with other games along the same turn based strategy RPG theme and despite the fact that I can barely understand ANYTHING, the difficulty of the battles and my own freaking pig-headed stubbornness is keeping me going. Not only that but the game amuses me. I'm in the process of trying to get my hands on The War of Genesis 3 Part 2 and a couple others that are set in the same universe.
The way the game is worked is that there are three 'episodes'. Each episode deals with the vents happening in three seperate countries to three seperate groups of characters. So some of these events happen at the same time as some events from other episodes and so on. It's a bit confusing and it's not very linear as you can play through like six chapters of one episode without even touching any of the others but I'm trying to play them in chronological order so whichever chapter is next on the timeline, regardless of the episode, that's what I'll play.
If you're interested, the official site can be found here.
As a last note, I'll be using a smattering of korean here and there which you won't be able to see properly unless you change the way your browser views character encoding so...yeah, but...anyways, onwards ^.^
